Shawn Chen

President of the World Federation of United Nations Associations

Chinese American, Doctor. He graduated from Chongqing University in 1982 and immigrated to the United States that year. He is now the director of the Board of Trustees of the California Institute of Technology Federation, the chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Asia Pacific University Federation, the elected chairman of the World Federation of University Presidents (2024-2027), the founder and president of Zhengzhou Sias College, the new chairman of the World Federation of United Nations Associations, and the chairman of the IPIC Intellectual Property Innovation Alliance. In 2021, he participated in the 19th Triennial Summit of the World Federation of University Presidents and was elected the president of the Federation from 2024 to 2027.
