It is undeniable that the commercial operation of Shaolin Temple has been very mature. By 2022, China's Songshan Shaolin Temple has applied for 706 trademarks. At present, the abbot of Shaolin Temple has actual control over 18 enterprises.

According to Zhengzhou public resources trading center, on April 6, Henan Tiesong Digital Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tiesong technology") won the right to use zhengzhengdongchu [2022] No. 2 (Network) plot with a reserve price of 452 million yuan.

Zhengzhou public resources trading center shows that the plot is located in the south of Yuxiang road and the west of Longhu inner ring East Road, with an area of 57.25 mu. It is used for retail commerce, wholesale market, catering, hotel and business finance. The planned plot ratio is less than 1.5, the building density is less than 40%, and the building height is less than 24 meters.

What is the origin of Tiesong technology?

According to the information, Tiesong technology was just established half a month ago with a registered capital of 452 million yuan. Its business scope includes hotel management, catering management, real estate development and operation, commercial performances, etc., which is just in line with the project positioning of the industrial implementation plan customized by the Management Committee of Zhengdong New Area for the parcel two years ago.

Henan Tiesong company is 51% and 49% owned by Henan tietou and Yuanhan industry respectively. Behind Yuanhan industry is Henan Shaolin Intangible Asset Management Co., Ltd. Shaolin intangible said that it was the only intellectual property management organization of Shaolin Temple in Songshan, China. It received a complaint that all stores of Semir Semir were selling "Semir Guochao cross-border cooperation - Guochao Shaolin Kungfu Semir" series of clothes and used "Shaolin Kungfu" for clothing labels and commodity names without authorization. Semir company had never made an intention to Shaolin Temple in writing in advance, and Shaolin intangible knew nothing about it.

Shaolin intangible noted that the recent infringement of Shaolin Temple's protective registered trademark has occurred from time to time in the commercial field. In view of this situation, a law firm has been entrusted to carry out relevant legal actions, and will reserve the right to investigate the legal liability of the infringer according to the affected situation.

Shi Yongxin: right and wrong are free from debate

The commercialization of Shaolin Temple is only a typical representative of temples in China.

The controversy over the temple's transformation from a Buddhist holy land to a secular place has also become increasingly noisy.

Shi Yongxin also said publicly that most of the ticket income of Shaolin Temple is used for maintaining the temple, daily expenses and charity. His own monthly salary is only 700 yuan.

For the dispute, Shi Yongxin has no intention to defend: "the Buddhist doctrine says that right and wrong are free from debate. We only look forward, and some things are solved by time and space".
