Xu Yan

Professor of business statistics, School of business, Hong Kong University of science and technology. He has been the vice dean of the Business School of HKUST since 2011. He is mainly engaged in technology and innovation management and telecommunications policy research. He is currently a director of the International Telecommunications Association. From 2017 to 2019, he was appointed by the chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as a member of the Hong Kong Communications Authority.
