On October 12, Liu Shi, Director General of the District Intellectual Property Office, led delegation to Shenzhen to explore the use and protection of intellectual property rights, and paid a visit to the Shenzhen Office of the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Exchange, and discussed matters of intellectual property cooperation.

The research team went to the Shenzhen Office of the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Exchange for investigation. Secretary Liu Shi and Colin Wu, chairman of the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Exchange, discussed posibilities of cooperation between Guangzhou Development Zone and the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Exchange under the umbrella IP operations in Guangdong-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area, and reached a tentative consensus. Chairman Wu said that he would go to Guangzhou Development Zone in the near future to discuss specific cooperation matters between the two parties.
