Essentials of trade mark application

Duration of registration: 10 years, subject to the filing of An Affidavit of Use between the 5th and 6th year of registration.  The registration is renewable for further 10 years upon payment of the renewal fees

Required documents

1、A trade mark specimen 

2、Name and address of the applicant

3、For corporation applicant, please provide a copy of Certificate of Incorporation  of the company 

     For individual applicant, please provide a copy of Identification card

4、Designated goods/services 

5、The date of first use of the trade mark in the US (if any), with a specimen of the trade mark as used in commerce in the US in respect of the listed goods
