There are two steps in the process of trademark registration in China

Step 1: trademark inquiry

The Applicant provides trademark graphics or documents and the scope of use of the goods or services. The inquiry report will be available in about a week.

Step 2: apply for registration

① Application stage: submit the application documents to the trademark office;

② Formal acceptance and examination stage: formal examination passed, trademark office issued acceptance notice, substantive examination;

③ Announcement and registration stage: substantive examination passed, announcing the preliminary examination, trademark office issues the registration certificate.

Time of trademark registration:

1. The Trademark Office issues an acceptance notice in about one month;

2. The first trial announcement period is 3 months;

3. It takes about 12-18 months to complete the trademark registration;

4. If the trademark is rejected or challenged during the application period, we will report the relevant situation to the applicant in time

Trademark registration documents:

1. Name of legal person: photocopy of business license, clear trademark, application form (prepared by us) and letter of attorney.

2. Personal name: photocopy of ID card, business license of individual business, clear trademark, application form (prepared by us) and letter of attorney.

Trademark registration fee:

Trademark registration fee is divided into two parts: inquiry fee (if need to pay for inquiry) and registration fee.
