Financial Engineers
Requirements

  ·  Multidisciplinary training involving financial theory, the methods of engineering, the tools of mathematics and the practice of programming

  ·  Extensive knowledge of algorithmic development, technology and information management

  ·  Extensive knowledge of optimization, numerical techniques, Monte Carlo simulation, and data analysis, portfolio theory, derivatives valuation, and financial risk analysis.

  ·  Comprehensive knowledge of designing and developing financial software applications

  ·  Strong knowledge of information management, scripting languages, and programming

  ·  In-depth knowledge of SQL, large data sets, and information systems

  ·  Extensive knowledge of providing support, both in sales and technical

  ·  Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

  ·  Possess strong statistic background with sound knowledge of VBA

  ·  Experience with securities, banking, and financial management and consulting industries, or as quantitative analysts in corporate treasury and finance departments of general manufacturing

Valuation Analyst/Senior Analyst
Major Duties and Responsibilities

  ·  Performance of financial analysis and development of related models

  ·  Review, organization, and analysis of case documentation

  ·  Performance of research functions

  ·  Performance of client and third-party interviews

  ·  Preparation of written reports

  ·  Performance of quality control procedures for client deliverables

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  ·  Experience with, or knowledge of, a variety of valuation approaches and methodologies including, discounted cash flows, relief from royalty, excess earnings, decision tree analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, options prices, and others

  ·  Familiarity with formal valuation reporting standards

  ·  Ability to critically analyze financial statements, accounting records, tax returns, and other financial documents

  ·  Understanding of financial documents used in day-to-day business operations and transactions

  ·  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  ·  Ability to conduct thorough research

  ·  Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, in particular)

Education and/or Training

  ·  4 year undergraduate degree with a concentration in accounting, finance, and/or economics

Intellectual Property Executive (Trademark/Patent)
Responsibilities/Duties

  ·  Supporting, dealing and handling IP cases, prosecution of trademark and/or patent and renewals

  ·  Handling and preparing relevant papers, document, correspondence for trademark and/or patent applications

  ·  Attending to IP related enquiries

  ·  Conducting searches with regard to IP rights and related issues

  ·  Monitoring and maintaining the progress of the pending applications

  ·  Liaising and dealing with people including clients, officials, agents, associates in Hong Kong and elsewhere

  ·  Provide support on various other matters, including copyrights, registered designs, and other incidental works/duties

Requirements

  ·  Post-secondary qualifications. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  ·  At least 2 years of relevant experience in trademark and/or patent handlings.

  ·  Experience in answering trademark and/or patent related enquiries is an advantage

  ·  Proficient PC skills in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat)

  ·  Excellent written and oral communication skills with proficiency in English, Putonghua, and Cantonese

  ·  Excellent organizational skills, good team player, mature, self-motivated

Licensing Executives
Responsibility

  ·  Develop, maintain, and manage client relationships at functional and executive levels throughout the client’s organization.

  ·  Meet or exceed annual and quarterly sales quotas.

  ·  Build relationships at all levels within a customer organization, including the board of directors, executive suite, and the legal, product, finance, and technology departments and groups. Gain the trust and confidence of the customer and act in a highly professional, industry-leading manner at all times.

  ·  Initiate conversations and build relationships by leveraging personal contacts and other creative ways to open communications with potential customers.

  ·  Work with the leadership team and product specialists to shape and qualify opportunities and assume opportunity ownership for selected engagements.

  ·  Coordinate all team members on licensing engagements across HKIPX.

  ·  Navigate the sales stages in a timely manner, identifying potential impediments and implementing solutions to resolve those impediments.

  ·  Engage at all levels of the organization to understand the client’s key challenges and initiatives and be able to map the right solutions to their business requirements. In particular, be able to network clearly within the client’s IP/Legal functions and their product management / technology teams.

Key Qualifications and Required Skills

  ·  Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience with demonstrated success at leading enterprise sales engagements to a successful conclusion.

  ·  Demonstrated academic excellence – BA/BS is required, and an MBA (or other advanced degree) is preferred. Engineering degree would be an advantage, but not necessary. Working knowledge of Asian or European languages would also be helpful.

  ·  Significant, demonstrated industry contacts within companies that are potential customers of HKIPX.

  ·  Extensive experience managing a sales territory (preferably with a technology focus) is a must.

  ·  Demonstrated results-orientation through creative problem solving with clients

  ·  Extensive experience in selling and closing large and/or complex technology deals in a variety of industries.

  ·  Experience in managing strategic business planning and management programs, as well as all corporate customer-facing interaction in both pre-sales and post-sales capacities.

  ·  Solid understanding of how large technology companies operate, particularly around product management and development, would be beneficial.

  ·  Great oral and written communication skills, with strong executive presence and interpersonal skills.

  ·  Prior experience with Intellectual Property / Patents would be helpful, but not required.

  ·  Financial background and understanding of complex deal structures would be advantageous.
