      ·  Multidisciplinary training involving financial theory, the methods of engineering, the tools of mathematics and the practice of programming

    Major Duties and Responsibilities

      ·  Performance of financial analysis and development of related models

      ·  Review, organization, and analysis of case documentation

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

      ·  Develop, maintain, and manage client relationships at functional and executive levels throughout the client’s organization.

      ·  Meet or exceed annual and quarterly sales quotas.

      ·  Build relationships at all levels within a customer organization, including the board of directors, executive suite, and the legal, product, finance, and technology departments and groups. Gain the trust and confidence of the customer and act in a highly professional, industry-leading manner at all times.

      ·  Initiate conversations and build relationships by leveraging personal contacts and other creative ways to open communications with potential customers.

      ·  Work with the leadership team and product specialists to shape and qualify opportunities and assume opportunity ownership for selected engagements.

      ·  Coordinate all team members on licensing engagements across HKIPX.

      ·  Navigate the sales stages in a timely manner, identifying potential impediments and implementing solutions to resolve those impediments.

      ·  Engage at all levels of the organization to understand the client’s key challenges and initiatives and be able to map the right solutions to their business requirements. In particular, be able to network clearly within the client’s IP/Legal functions and their product management / technology teams.

    Key Qualifications and Required Skills

      ·  Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience with demonstrated success at leading enterprise sales engagements to a successful conclusion.

      ·  Demonstrated academic excellence – BA/BS is required, and an MBA (or other advanced degree) is preferred. Engineering degree would be an advantage, but not necessary. Working knowledge of Asian or European languages would also be helpful.

      ·  Significant, demonstrated industry contacts within companies that are potential customers of HKIPX.

      ·  Extensive experience managing a sales territory (preferably with a technology focus) is a must.

      ·  Demonstrated results-orientation through creative problem solving with clients

      ·  Extensive experience in selling and closing large and/or complex technology deals in a variety of industries.

      ·  Experience in managing strategic business planning and management programs, as well as all corporate customer-facing interaction in both pre-sales and post-sales capacities.

      ·  Solid understanding of how large technology companies operate, particularly around product management and development, would be beneficial.

      ·  Great oral and written communication skills, with strong executive presence and interpersonal skills.

      ·  Prior experience with Intellectual Property / Patents would be helpful, but not required.

      ·  Financial background and understanding of complex deal structures would be advantageous.
